1. Service Description

WebToBook provides two core services:

• WebToBook: Converting websites into professional PDF books
• BookToWeb: Converting PDF/EPUB/MOBI books into SEO-optimized websites

Services use advanced technology and third-party tools to deliver high-quality conversions.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use our services
• You must provide a valid email address
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our services to:

• Convert content you don't have legal rights to use
• Process illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Abuse, harass, or harm others
• Attempt to bypass payment systems or usage limits
• Reverse engineer or scrape our services
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

4. Content Ownership and Rights

• Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to content you submit for conversion
• License to Process: You grant us a temporary license to process your content solely for providing the service
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to convert and use the content
• Output: You own the converted output files and may use them in accordance with your content rights

5. Pricing and Payment

• Free Tier: First 3 conversions per service are free
• WebToBook: $2 per conversion after free tier
• BookToWeb: $5 per conversion after free tier
• Volume Discounts: Available for 50+ conversions
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• No refunds for completed conversions, except at our discretion for technical failures

6. Service Availability and Limitations

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Conversion times typically under 60 seconds, but may vary
• File size limits: Maximum 50MB for uploads
• Website conversions: Maximum 100 pages per conversion
• We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts for violations

7. Data and Privacy

• Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy
• Content is processed temporarily and deleted within 24 hours
• We do not use your content to train AI models
• We implement industry-standard security measures

8. Intellectual Property

• WebToBook name, logo, and service are our intellectual property
• You may not use our branding without written permission
• Generated output may include small attribution (removable with commercial license)

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

SERVICE PROVIDED "AS IS":

• We do not guarantee perfect conversions or specific formatting outcomes
• Generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• We are not liable for any damages arising from use of our services
• Maximum liability limited to the amount you paid for the service
• We are not responsible for content legality or third-party claims

10. Third-Party Services

Our services integrate with third-party providers (Anthropic, PDFShift, Stripe, GitHub). You acknowledge that:

• These services have their own terms and policies
• We are not liable for third-party service failures
• Service availability depends on third-party uptime

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebToBook from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit for conversion

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access for violations
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason
• Modify or discontinue services with notice

You may stop using our services at any time.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or service notice.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States
• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits

15. Commercial Use License

Converted files may be used commercially, provided:

• You have legal rights to the source content
• You comply with all applicable laws
• You do not resell or redistribute our service itself

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
